With love from Foundationstones

The children of Foundationstones have been doing their own preparations for the trip to Uganda, Jess stopped off to interview Sophie-Rae about what they have been up to.  Sophie-Rae also helped set up the daily blog posts which will keep you updated with our prayer requests while we are in Uganda.

Jess: What have Foundationstones been doing to prepare for the trip to Uganda?

Sophie-Rae: We have been making t-shirts and writing letters for children in Uganda and we also had our photo taken for a banner to send them love.

Jess: What do you know about the trip to Uganda?

Sophie-Rae: It's going to be awesome, in Foundationstones we had Uganda week, we prayed for Uganda and pointed to it on a map, we drew round our hands and wrote prayers on them for children in Uganda.  We prayed for people in Uganda who do not have enough food and listened to music from Uganda while playing musical statues.  Jess, Jeannie, Marion, Peter, Abigail, Jude, Caroline and Gemma talked to us about the trip.

Jess: Have you given anything for the trip to Uganda?

Sophie-Rae: We are sending a top for my adopted brother to wear, his name is Vincent.  My sister sometimes sends him letters and photos about us.

Jess: How will you be supporting the team while they are in Uganda?

Sophie-Rae: On Sunday I was given a name of somebody to pray for, I got you (Jess).  We also have a prayer timetable to pray each day.  I will pray for a different member of the team each day and Jess every day!

Here is a picture of Elenna from Foundationstones with a picture of the t-shirt design that she has made to send to Uganda.  The t-shirt has Philippians 4 v 13 on it, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
